Lisa graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro w/ the intention of becoming a fashion stylist. After styling stints w/ Paris Hilton, Shakira, Lil Wayne, Fabolous and Alicia Keys, she realized that styling was not paying the bills so she decided to explore a career in sales figuring, "if I can convince security guards to let me in to the hottest parties, I could sell stuff."Ā
Sell stuff she did and haphazardly landed a job at a start-up tech firm which launched her career in the space. 8 years later Lisa was recruited on LinkedIn by LinkedIn, kicking off her career as an Enterprise Account Executive, a role she held for 2 years. Ā
Ā Currently in her 3rd year, Lisa is now an Enterprise Relationship Manager who received the 2016 Women at LinkedIn Inspiration award and 2017 "Relationships Matter" award for her work at FancyfiedFridays; a positivity group designed to empower LinkedIn employees to harness the power of positivity to create new possibilities.Ā
Lisa is the founder of Fancyfied a lifestyle brand specializing in motivating teams, individuals and educates them about the art/science behind personal branding.Ā She'sĀ been married for 10 years, is an art/fashion aficionado whose life mission is to uplift, empower, inspire and unite.Ā
Brian is in his 4th year at LinkedIn. He helped found and co-chaired the Black Inclusion Group @ LI, whose mission is to elevate Blacks through their participation in technology, and also serves as VP of HOLA. Brian is a native New Yorker from Brooklyn. When he's not being the Steph Curry of talent acquisition, he's into health and wellness, horticultural gardening, and volunteering w/ a local dog rescue.
